This creamy ground pork pasta is a great comfort food. It is lightly spiced with fennel, garlic and coriander for a mellow nuttiness and creaminess.

1 lb. ground pork
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. fennel seeds
1 tsp. ground coriander
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. chili powder (optional)
½ tsp. fresh ground pepper
½ tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
1 cup half and half
½ to ¾ cup water
Linguini pasta
Brown pork in olive oil over medium high heat. Lower temperature to medium low and add, butter, garlic and spices. Cook for one minute while stirring. Raise temperature to medium and add flour stirring until browned. Slowly add half and half and water while stirring. Lower heat and continue to cook and occasionally stir until thickened. Meanwhile prepare your pasta to al dente. Serve the pasta topped with creamy ground pork sauce.
