A flavorful side dish, this easy asparagus is healthy and tasty with the use of olive oil and lemon juice.

1 lb. fresh asparagus
1 tbs. olive oil
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Rinse the asparagus and break off the ends until you reach the point in the stalk where they snap. This means the rest of the asparagus will not be stringy. Heat the oil in a skillet on medium high. Add the asparagus and cook for 6 to 10 minutes turning and reducing the heat to medium. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon juice.
