This easy cod recipe is also healthy and full of flavor. The fresh lemon juice gives the cod a nice zesty flavor. To make this recipe heart healthy, leave the butter off.

4 Six oz. cod fillets
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. butter (for heart healthy use another tbsp. of oil)
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Pat the cod fillets dry. Heat the oil and butter in a skillet on medium high temperature. Add the cod and sauté for 4 to 5 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and turn the cod cooking for an additional 4 to 5 minutes or until the cod is flakey. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and drizzle with lemon juice. Enjoy!
