My Mother’s recipe for cooking pork chops is easy and is still my favorite. Below is a video of My Southern Dinner which includes cooking pork chops.
These easy pork chops make a great dinner meal. I like to flour my pork chops just like my Mother would do when I was a child.
Always let the flour setup on the pork chops for about 10 minutes so it adheres to the chop.
I like cooking my chop with butter, but you can choose to use 2 tbsp. of heart healthy olive oil instead. Keep an eye on your chops to make sure your flour coating does not get overly browned.
Your chops are cooked when the juices run clear. I always prefer to measure the internal temperature. With pork the internal temperature should be 145 degrees or greater.
I always use my drippings to make milk gravy. Find the recipe at: Creamy Milk Gravy
