Baked turkey meatballs are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional meatballs. They are made with lean ground turkey, which is lower in fat and calories than ground beef. They are also baked instead of fried, which further reduces the fat content. In addition, these meatballs are gluten-free and keto-friendly, making them a great option for people with dietary restrictions. These meatballs are perfect for a healthy weeknight meal. They can be served with your favorite pasta, rice, or vegetables. They are also a great option for meal prep. You can make a big batch of meatballs on the weekend and then reheat them throughout the week.  Or eat them as a healthy cold diet snack.

Make up large batches of these meatballs and freeze them in quantities of 6 to 12 which equal one serving.  One serving has the following nutrition:

Calories =111
Fat= 65 grams
Protein= 12 grams
Carbs= 3 grams

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients listed in the recipe below. Mix well.

With wet hands form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet with sides and line it with parchment paper.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through with an internal temperature of 165F.
Serve with your favorite pasta, rice, or vegetables. Or if you plan on storing for future use. Let the meatballs to cool. Then package in single serving packages of 12 pieces. I like to use my Snapware storage containers for these. They stack nicely in the freezer. I can pull them out and put them into the microwave or put into the refrigerator for later. You can find a link to these storage containers in Shop at Cooking With Denise.

Here are some tips for making the best baked turkey meatballs:
• Use lean ground turkey. Ground turkey with a high fat content will make the meatballs greasy.
• Use fresh ingredients. Fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese will add flavor and nutrients to the meatballs.
• Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet. If you put too many meatballs on the baking sheet, they will not cook evenly.
• Bake the meatballs until they are cooked through. The internal temperature of the meatballs should reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
• Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce. Spaghetti sauce, marinara sauce, are all great options.
• Serve the meatballs on a salad.
• Eat the meatballs as a healthy snack.

These baked turkey meatballs are a delicious and healthy way to enjoy meatballs. They are perfect for a weeknight meal or for meal prep. So next time you are craving meatballs, reach for these healthy baked turkey meatballs instead.
