Hey everyone, if you’re looking for the most incredible creamy hamburger pasta recipe ever! Then look no further! This hamburger pasta is sure to be a hit at your next family dinner. I’m here to show you how to make it and why it’s so special.
It’s delicious and easy to make and always turns out great! Hamburger has been around for years, and this dish is one you will want to keep around for many years. It is a great comfort food and always welcomed by children and adults. It will become one of your weekly menu items.
The first step in making Creamy Hamburger Pasta is gathering the ingredients. You’ll need ground beef, bacon, olive oil, onion, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.
Also you will need Diced Tomatoes, Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Green Onions and Penne Pasta. You may choose to use what pasta you have on hand like macaroni, rotini, or fusilli pasta.
Next gather your tools. You will need a large skillet or Pot, spatula, cutting board, knives, kitchen shears, a large saucepan, strainer skimmer, ladle, and bowls.
Once you have gathered all of your ingredients and tools, start by prepping the onions and garlic. So let’s grab that cutting board and knife. So take a medium sized onion and let’s get to cutting.
So now let’s take 3 cloves of garlic. First I will peel it. Mash it. And chop it. Now set those aside.
Now let’s get started on the bacon. I’m taking 4 strips of bacon and cutting it with my kitchen shears. Now place that in the skillet and heat it to medium high.
While that is cooking take your large sauce pan and fill it with water. Add salt and bring it to a boil.
Let’s check on our bacon. We need to keep stirring it so it will brown evenly. Now the bacon looks good, let’s use our skimmer and drain it on a paper towel and save for later.
When our water is ready for the pasta, add 8 oz. of rotini. Keep the water at a good boil to prevent sticking.
Now let’s get started on our hamburger. Raise your heat to medium high, add 1 tbsp. olive oil. Then add your ground beef. Break it apart with your spatula. You will want to cook this until it is almost browned. Next reduce your heat and add your ½ cup chopped onions. We want the onions to cook and release all of those good flavors. Yum I love onions!
We better check on our pasta. We want to cook it to al dente. Looking good, so you will next want to add the chopped garlic, 1/8 tsp. of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp. salt, and 1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper. Stir that and let it cook for just one minute.
Now add your 16 oz. can of diced tomatoes and let these simmer for 15 minutes.
Next take 4 oz. of cream cheese and cut it into cubes. Add it to the pot along with 8 oz. of sour cream. Stir that well. We will allow that to warm up for about 5 minutes.
Now let’s stir in our pasta and heat for about 5 minutes. Let’s serve up this Creamy Hamburger Pasta. Serve in bowls topped with shredded cheddar cheese, bacon crumbles, and sliced green onions. It is sure to be a hit with your family! It has all the delicious flavors and creamy textures we love. The great part is that this recipe is so easy and quick to make.
